(And by the way, if you could of heard them fighting in the car on the way to the baseball game, you would be far less impressed with their brotherly love).

This was classic though before the game:

Dawson and his pink cast warming up his pitcher brother while Max stood behind him to act as his throwing arm.

Coach put the kibosh on that pretty quickly…

Of course.

(It was a wiffle ball. I thought that was very responsible of us).

His brothers showed him no mercy.

And they all CLEARLY got their skills from me…(oh my dear).

All of the sudden the sun comes out here and we are outside and there are pictures to be taken.

In honor of Mother’s Day.

I couldn’t resist.

That was a week-end….

In the last 30 minutes, I have caught both of these photos….

I make a request to have everyone stand very close to each other.

There’s going to be a battle of some kind.

And someone is going to get hurt.

If you can’t pick him out, sister is kindly pointing him out for you….

This will have to do for Mother’s Day 2012.

They’re mine.

And I love being their Mom.

The end.

Children born to another woman call me “Mom.”

And the magnitude of that tragedy and the depth of that privilege are not lost on me today.

Because this is my Mom—

And this is my mother-in-law–

And that’s pretty amazing.

Even if they weren’t my mothers, I would argue they are two of the most incredible women in the world.

Which makes me…beyond blessed.

Happy Mother’s Day to my own Moms, my own heroes.

You should come to Washington immediately.

It’s insanely perfect here right now.

But I cannot guarantee this for very any amount of time.

So just come now.

AND my husband would not let me out without a life jacket today.

There is a very good chance I would die if that board got too far away from me.

(Although, I’m getting better. My paddle boarding skills are much improved. Swimming…not so much).
