I’m in denial that we have to get back in the car tomorrow.
As a friend said, I was kind of counting on someone perfecting teleport before we had to drive home. Then I could blink and we would be in our driveway.
That’s not going to happen.
So we’re going to say good-bye for now and head home.
We love these people. All of them.
Not sure if we are invited next year or not…but we hope so.

Thanks Family.
Thanks Colorado for not having bugs.
Iowa. We’re on our way.

We are wrapping it up tonight with a basketball tournament…

My favorite part of this is Kora in the background dribbling. She’s quite good even in her white dress…

Sarah was probably our first connection with Sierra Leone.
She was the person that got us talking, got us praying, got us thinking about the small West African country.
Little did we know where those first stirrings of the heart would take us.
She just returned a couple days ago from spending another summer in Sierra Leone.
She spoke Krio to the Zeke and Kora…which totally freaked them out.
And brought them some special treasures.

Thank you, Sarah, for loving the country. For loving the people. For encouraging us to do the same.
And for expanding our hearts…so we were ready to receive these two true and profound blessings.
