Hey Friends.
It’s my birthday today.
Yay.
Still have a sick kid.
I fly out at 10pm tonight.
I feel loved. Birthdays are good for that. (Facebook is good for that).
I’m a little uneasy.
Because it’s hard to leave when kids are sick.
And because I’m tired.
And I will not be sleeping tonight.
(If you know me at all, sleep is not really optional for me. So get a bit worked up knowing my night will be on an airplaneā¦)
But in the end, its all good.
So good.
I’m 34.
And I cannot imagine being or doing anything else.
I am most thankful.

Of course, as long as it’s my birthday.
YOu know what I want?
Lots and lots of stoves.
Meg is totally kicking my fundraising butt.
And well, I sort of would like to meet my personal goal.
Because I guess I’m a bit competitive.
And mostly because I really love these stoves and I know the kind of impact they are having in the lives of people in Haiti.
So if you feel like celebrating my birthday.
Or Mariskaa Hargitay’s birthday. It’s her birthday too.
If you don’t like me, sponsor stoves for her…

Thanks, guys.
Hope to post from Haiti too.
And we will be drawing the winner of the Haiti trip on Saturday (sponsor 3 stoves = an entry into the drawing). So be watching for that.

Alright.
Onward.
Appreciate you all.

Safe travels…..
Happy Birthday, sweet girl. Blessings on your trip.
I’ll give $1,000.
