One of the emails I received this morning from a friend who sponsored a pump said, “Thank you for providing the opportunity. So many of us want to give and simply need to be told when and where!”

It is things like this that give me the courage to continue. And to be bold sometimes.

I never want you to feel like I think this is the only thing available . I know how overwhelming it can get with the many “causes” and stories that are at our fingertips these days.

I do this because I love it.

Because I believe it.

Because I’ve seen it. And because I work with some of the smartest people in the space.

And because it’s an invite. It’s an invite because I think it’s an amazing opportunity.

I really do.

So thank you.

It was a great day yesterday! And things are looking awesome today as well.

We still have a $100 jumpstart for the next 15 advocates to start an October Hunger Campaign.

Our photographer, Esther Havens (premier humanitarian photographer), who spends her life traveling the world said this:

201210021221.jpg Many of you ask me about what I’ve seen that works when I travel. If you are looking for somewhere to donate, this is a campaign I

would give my own money to. I’ve worked on stories twice now about these farmers and I continue to be amazed. They are growing huge, beautiful, fresh gardens with so little effort……..their time is freed up and they have many more vegetables to sell.”

And this is Peter.

Peter is the grandpa to 20 kids. Peter sends two of his orphaned grandchildren to school with the income he makes as a farmer using the pump.
And that’s pretty much enough said.

Love you guys.
