What happened to this week?
While emotionally, we felt much stronger this week. Physically our bodies paid the toll.
Everyone is a little under the weather. sick. I find myself being drawn back to bed way to often.
I think these two instagram photos are the only evidence I have that we were alive this week.
I do believe both were taken on separate days at the ball field while studying spelling words.
Each non-playing child is required to come sit by me for 30 minutes to tackle spelling lists.
It’s their favorite ever.

This week:
Zeke lost a tooth.
Gabe got an award.
Dawson makes us so darn proud we can’t talk about it without crying. But we can’t let on that we know. It’s a big secret that he’s an amazing kid.
Max rallied back to do well this week on his math tests.
Quincy told me, “You don’t know anything, Mom!! You lived in the 1980′s.” His math skills are greatly improving as well.
And Kora desperately wants a sister. I’m going to paint her nails this weekend and see if that works.

When I think I’ve seen it all, you guys are part of surprising and blessing and encouraging me all over again. HUGE, ginormous, amazing week for the Hunger Campaign. Thank you.

Andy is working insanely hard and holding us all together somehow.
Tonight we are going to escape reality for a little bit and celebrate some growing kids. Zeke and Kora turn 7 on Monday and Quincy requested “swimming” as his celebration for last week’s birthday. We are going to see if we can accommodate it all.
It’s a wrap on another week….
