I’m not doing a fantastic job of keeping things under control here.

You should see my house right now.

I wonder if all my kids will fail their spelling tests today?

Those plans for healthy, at-home meals have not panned out as planned.

That budget I’m supposed to be sticking too…

The car. Which is basically our home right now. Yah. Don’t ride with me.

I’m spinning a bit.

I am chalking it up to a new year and we will eventually get in our groove?

And we are going to have to move back in town. We have LOVED this place. We needed this place.

But it is not one of those scenarios that is long-term.

So that’s sort of overwhelming in itself.

Right now, my vote is for the apartments right behind the school/church.

Save some money, never drive a car, walk everywhere.

I’m sort of serious. But we’ll see…

Couple quick updates since I clearly have not gotten into the blogging groove yet either:

–I was strangely proud of my son who kept running in for the touchdown after his shorts were pulled down during the first home flag football game. It was awesome.

—Becky and Sarah are going to be in San Diego this weekend for the Stay Classy Awards where The Adventure Project is one of four finalists in the “Best New Charity” category. I have cancelled all travel right now (note above)–but I will be watching online. So fun.

–We didn’t win the Chase grant. Bummer. But THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to vote!! Truly.

–I am all sorts of excited about this Hunger campaign. Have you read Hannah’s story?? Read it. Then next blog you can join me?
