This week has been a bit of an attempt at a “Get Your Life Together Week.”
But I realized, it’s going to take more than one week this time.
However–
Dawson has braces now.
Andy’s surgery is scheduled.
Bills are paid.
School supplies are bought…mostly.
Registration paperwork is getting done.
Couple hair cuts got done.
The rest can wait until next week.
The kids had a bit of shock to their system when the answer had to be “no” or “nothing” more than usual this week.
Some days…some weeks…are just work weeks.
At one point this conversation happened:
Son # 4: “I do NOT want to ride in this car for 3 hours!!”
Me: “Quincy, it’s going to be 20 minutes not 3 hours.”
Son #4: “Well. It’s going to take 3 hours because we are going to have to stop by the jail because you are going to get arrested for torturing your children.”
Alrighty.
Good news is they are still cute…
