The kids and I were doing this last night….

Unfortunately Andy’s night was not going as beautifully.

We didn’t know until the phone calls came.

Taken from band practice to the ER.

Confirming what we assumed to be true.

2 kidneys full of stones.

Yuck.

His friends stayed with him basically all night.

They can join the ranks of friends who have made similar ER trips with Andy.

He was up this morning wanting to pretend it didn’t happen.

Pretending he isn’t a ticking time bomb waiting for a surgery.

He got up and took boys to the dentist and made a plan for the impending braces for Dawson.

(PS. He is amazing.)

I decided to stay home with the little kids and look for a second job to pay for medical/orthodontics bills…
