(Official TAP launch. Super cool update here!)

When we launched our first water campaign last year, we didn’t expect it to turn out like this.
Thanks to you, 12 mechanics are now working in India, ensuring clean water for 8,000 people. A huge win. But the ultimate success is that the government of India heard about it, and decided that they’d like to finance the expansion. How often do nonprofits get to tell donors, “Thanks for your gift, the program is now sustainable and your funds are no longer needed?” But today, that’s what we’re honored to tell you.

And now, we’re fired-up to do even more. We established a new partnership in new regions in rural India, where 930,000 people lack access to skilled mechanics. With 1/3 of all wells broken, the need for wells mechanics is in huge demand. The idea of helping almost one million people inspired us, but we were surprised to learn how little is required to help so many people.

We even delayed our launch a week because we kept calling India and asking, “Are you sure?” We just couldn’t believe the math. But it’s true.

For $550 you can help hire and train one person to become a well mechanic – who will be responsible for maintaining 50 wells. Wells that give 5,000 people clean drinking water. So just imagine what’s possible if we can help 186 future water entrepreneurs?

get involved title1.     Fundraise with us. Reach $550 and next year we’ll send you a photo and story of a
mechanic we helped.
2.     Give 5. We realized good things come in five’s this quarter ($550 invested in mechanic to serve 50 wells for 5,000 people – say that five times, fast)… Donate $25, $50 or even $550.
3. Blog. We’re looking for 250 people to share this story on March 22nd, which is World Water Day. Sign up to join us.

We always wanted to prove that small gifts matter. The best solutions don’t always need millions of dollars or complex strategies. Sometimes, they just need an entrepreneurial spirit. And you.

Join us in helping 186 future mechanics. $550 dollars at a time.
